dyslexia - spelling advice

I'm looking for recommendations for a structured spelling program to follow after Apples and Pears. My child is in P5 and recently received a dyslexia assessment. We've been making good progress with Apples and Pears at home since January and are now halfway through. We'll complete the program by October.

I'm planning ahead for what to do next to support spelling at home. The school's approach is that their teaching is already 'dyslexia-friendly', so they aren't offering additional intervention or support.

Has anyone had experience with "Mega Words" or similar programs? Apples and Pears has worked for us because of its highly structured approach, allowing us to complete one lesson daily. Something with a similar format would be ideal.

We're trying Nessy - seems fun but I don't know whether it has made that much of an impact TBH. I'm off to look at Apples and Pears now!

It isn’t as structured as Apples and Pears but you could also look at WordShark.

Thanks for these replies. I’ll have a look at both. I really like the structured approach of A&P, trying to do as much written to help with handwriting. Keep coming back to megawords but not sure how much time it takes to do. The daily routine of A&P suits us well. Although I’m sure tolerance for this will not last forever.

Anyone have experience of megawords?
