I think my son is autistic

He is 2y9m. He has two older neurotypical sisters. These are somethings that make me wonder:
He adores numbers and letters. Knows all his sounds. Loves ordering the alphabet and numbers. Literally loves this/ bordering obsessive.
Likes to retell the same story a lot.
Not willing to try new foods.

However,
He has incredible vocabulary and speaks brilliantly.
Sleeps through the night.
Good eye contact.
No issues with different clothing.
Reads emotions.
No flapping / stimming

Would you think this sounds like it? If so where do I go from here?

I mean it might be or it might not be, it sounds like he's high functioning if he does have ASD and it can be pretty hard to tell at this age, mine wasn't diagnosed with Aspergers until nearly secondary age. I would just keep a note of the things you've noticed, add to it if you notice anything else and see how he goes, he's still very young. Try not to worry too much either way my ds grew up to be obsessed with programming and is now software engineering and loving it.

If you are concerned, you should speak to your HV &/or GP. However, based on your post, there wouldn’t be enough for a diagnosis at the moment and you may not even get a referral.

You could look at the Ages and Stages questionnaires.

We're actually seeing a paediatrician for another reason so I'll mention it and see what they say would be the next steps.

I'll check out ages and stages thank you

I should have added that his HV 2 year check was done at 2y 5m and nothing was raised by them.

General paediatrician has referred us to developmental paediatrician. She said she thinks I'm just on hyper alert as I work in early years but referred anyway.
