I don’t know where to turn

What do you do when the SENCO wont refer your child even though behaviour problems are now occurring in home and school? My parenting is being scrutinised and I am at breaking point with it all. I can’t continue to be forced to walk away every morning and leave my child angry screaming and crying.

Speak to the GP.

Also request an EHCNA yourself using the model letter on IPSEA’s website.

I saw the GP and HV and they can’t refer without the school on board. From what I’ve seen on here EHCPS seem to be a battle to get even with a diagnosis ? I assumed I’d have no chance with no school on board and no diagnosis ?

It's tough when your SENCo won't help.
I would try the IPSEA helpline
https://www.ipsea.org.uk/call-in-helpline
Also look at your council local offer to see if there's a support service. Google [name of your council] local offer
If you haven't already tried that.
Where I live parents can self refer to an early intervention service.

EHCPs are based on needs, not diagnosis. Having the school’s support helps, but you can still get one without. If things are as your OP depicted, then you should request an EHCNA.

Speak to the GP again and complain to the school.

The school should be providing support even without a diagnosis. They must make their best endeavours to meet a pupil's SEN.
