Holidays and bringing incontinence pads

I've booked several trips this year with my non verbal asd 5 year old. She is still in nappies (size 7, nearly size 8). I'm hopeful that I'll crack potty training this summer but am realistically prepared to packing her nappies to go abroad. Luckily we have a decent baggage allowance, but this has made me wonder about how this will be handled when she's older and how to handle on a longer trip.

So my questions are, if you go abroad with your SEN child/teen with incontinence, how do you typically travel with their products? Do you simply book extra luggage if flying? Avoid flying for this reason? Have products delivered abroad? Or maybe ensure you have your own laundry facilities and use washable products? Also, what about changing facilities, restrooms in Europe specifically? My daughter is still small enough that I didn't notice issues in the Netherlands, but we're off to the canaries in October and I'm a bit worried.

Extra baggage allowance is available for medical needs/equipment. You don’t need to pay for normal luggage like you would if it was a suitcase of clothes. Some also order to their destination.

Changing places facilities are lacking, unfortunately.

Thank you. I think it might be easiest to have the products delivered. I've contacted Aer Lingus who have stated that it would be fine to bring separately for free with a doctors note. The only problem with that is it means I have to lug an extra bag around.

That's a shame about changing places, but it is what I suspected.
