Lunch box ideas

Hi everyone, wasn't sure where else to post this. DS diagnosed ASD, will not eat a range of foods. Most of which you would find in a lunch box. Does not have school meals because he would not like majority of the choices and the few he does (like mac and cheese) will not be the version I'd cook for him.
Anyway currently he has cheese, crackers, an orange or banana and 2 yogurts. Some days he'll only eat the yogurts, he'll then ask for food as soon as he gets back home.
He does not like bread, rice, mayo, plain veg or meat. School are very understanding where lunch is concerned provided its not a lot of sugar.

Can anyone share ideas on what I can pack for him? Thanks in advance.

What would DS normally eat at home at lunchtime? What does he eat school when he asks for food? Can you send that?

Would DS eat your mac and cheese and other hot meals from home from a flask?

Does DS eat pizza, cold pasta or egg based products?

Thanks for the reply, at home it's usually toast (only way he'll eat bread) with cheese or egg, fruit and a yogurt. It then usually takes up to an hour for him to eat the lunch but at school he has 30 minutes. I've tried him with cold tuna pasta, he didn't like and I don't think he'd manage with a flask as he's also particular about the temperature of hot food.
It's hard to find cold pasta dishes without 'obvious' veg.

Would DS eat toast at school? If the school doesn’t already have a toaster you could buy one.

What about DS eat plain pasta with grated cheese? You could send in a little pot of grated cheese DS could add at lunchtime. Or if he would eat a tomato based sauce pasta with a tomato sauce (with or without cheese).

If DS will eat egg, will he eat a hard boiled egg or mini cheese tartlets?

The tomato pasta is a good idea as I make the sauce myself with hidden veg. It's usually served warm to him but it will be just as good cold. Not sure if they'll make toast but I'll ask. Eggs he will only eat scrambled, which won't sit well after a few hours.
He likes quiche too but last couple of times he left it at lunch.

Don't be afraid to let go of the usual rules around temp. You could send cold toast or toasted sandwiches if he likes it. Cool before you pack it so it doesn't go too soggy. I used to send in cold peas, sweetcorn, even boiled carrots because it was what he would eat.

It sounds like he likes crunchy things. Have you tried quesadillas? Or if you tear up tortillas and bake for a few mins they turn into homemade tortilla chips. Sounds like crisps for lunch but it's literally just a wrap. Wraps are also a lot of calories for the volume which is good when he has a time limit. Oatcakes. Those part baked rolls that crisp up in the oven, though they'd be a bit of a faff. Maybe try Krisprolls if he will tolerate wholegrain, though they are very hard. Mini sausage rolls, or cheese and onion equivalent.

Non-mayo fillings - sausage maybe with mild mustard or ketchup, houmous, any combo of soft cheese/ham/salami, cheese with chutney or gherkin, chicken with sweet chilli sauce, salsa or hoisin sauce. Sour cream or creme fraiche, or even just a bit of olive oil, for a pasta salad. Potato salad with same, or a little balsamic.

Inevitably most of this is not going to suit but if you've got this far, hopefully there's something there that might spark an idea. Some might seem like quite strong flavours but that is what has worked well here.
