Book recommendations for teen DD awaiting ADHD diagnosis?

My DD who is almost 13 has been referred to CAMHS for an ADHD (and possibly ASD) assessment. It was my DD who came to me and asked if I thought she might have it, what she didn't know was that her dad and her brother are already awaiting assessment too! Suddenly we realised that she's had all the same issues that they have but that she's been successfully masking until the hormones and stress of high school have made it too difficult for her.

I am very new to this, and it will be approximately a 2 year wait until she is assessed. I'd really like to get her a book to read that gives her some useful tips on how to handle things, coping strategies etc that's aimed specifically at teens, is there anything like this out there?

I bought Understanding ADHD In Girls And Women edited by Joanne Steere for my 16 year old daughter, it has chapters by different people and lots of case studies. Some of it is fairly adult in theme (talking about sexual behaviour in young women and how there can be some fairly risky behaviour) so you may want to read it first before giving it to your daughter or just direct her to some chapters, but we both found it very informative.

Thank you!
I think something a little bit lighter and positive is more what I'm looking for.

Forgetting books for a minute, have a look at How to ADHD on YouTube.

Then for a book try Movers, Dreamers, Risk Takers - Unlocking the Power of ADHD.

And not for ADHD specifically, but from an author with ADHD, and providing support for personal organisation that is ADHD-friendly, take a look at The Bullet Method.

Sorry - the books aren't specifically for teens.
