Crashed A levels - Late adhd diagnosis

Our DS has sadly just crashed out of A levels in y13 and quit school. Couldn’t face continuing. Late diagnosis of ADHD (Aug 2022) and anxiety. What now? What is the best way for DS to get back in saddle - what are options? Mainstream School plus tutors in 2023, internet schooling, home schooling for 2 years? We are at a total loss as to what is best. He got good GCSEs but the step up to A level never worked and he quickly fell behind. Adhd was an out of the blue diagnosis following school recommendation after predicted grades plummeted. (Anxiety being treated separately.)

Does DS have an EHCP?

No. Is it worth getting one?

As DS is struggling to access education because of his SEN it is worth requesting an EHCNA. IPSEA have a model letter you can use on their website. An EHCP can last until 25 or 26 in some circumstances.

Depends what he would like to do afterwards? If he’s looking at uni an access course would be the route.
if unsure of uni he could restart college in Sept - btecs might be better ?
