Child with cochlear implants

Hi,
I have a 2yo dd who was born completely deaf. She recently has had a cochlear implant fitted in both ears as even the strongest hearing aids did nothing to help her. She has taken to them quite well; is happy to wear them during the day, doesn’t really fiddle or touch them at all, is coping with hearing noise for the first time quite well etc. All seems to good to be true.
However, I’m reluctant to the idea that they’re actually helping her. She doesn’t respond to her name still (even if I say it really loudly), if she’s playing she won’t look up if she hears a sudden noise like me dropping a cup or the hoover turning on etc, she doesn’t really acknowledge any music or the TV, no words yet (although I know this takes time) etc.
Also the idea that she’s not bothered by supposedly hearing sound for the first time seems strange as all people I’ve spoken to have said when toddlers hear for the first time it’s quite scary for them. She’s not bothered in the slightest.

My husband doesn’t think there’s anything wrong as the hearing tests that she’s had done recently all say she’s hearing well and the professionals don’t think there’s anything to worry about despite me repeatedly discussing my concerns.
But my gut thinks otherwise.
I know it’s still early days and she might not know how to respond to sound yet but something about this isn’t sitting right with me. I really want her to be able to hear properly and this is sort of her last chance.
What do you think?
Thank you for taking the time to read xx
