Speed up or Write from the start for 7yo?

Hi all, the teacher of my 7yo DS (yr 2) has suggested referring him to an OT for his slow handwriting. It’s pretty neat but he’s v slow and he finds it hard work! In the meantime I’d like to get him a book to have a bit of a go on..a bit of research has lead me to Speed up or Write from the Start but not sure which would be best for him. The first says age 4-6 and the second age 8+! Any suggestions? It’s hard to find anything online indicating what they are like… thanks

No experience of either I’m afraid but interested to see any other responses that may come.

My DS is 6 and struggles with his handwriting but it sounds v different situation to yours - his handwriting is barely legible!. We are working with physio to address hyper mobility issues at the moment. But a friend who is a primary teacher recommended Write from the start as one that may be worth doing with him if we don’t see improvements
