I wonder whether those highly academic selective boys schools are as highly experienced as those state school, IF NOT MORE experienced , For highly academic geeky boys who love studying and not into sports .
I bet there must be a high chance of those boys may have some sort of level or boarder line trait of HFASD.
Do those top tier school outright reject them at interviews or accept them then support them ?

I just feel they must be very experienced and perhaps accept the facts :
with that those high performers boys , however comes in 1 same package is maybe they have chance of HFASD .

Therefor if you want them to perform , you gotta support them and their emotional need , than simply reject them at interviews ?

I just called one of the top tier. They are very welcoming and open minded and sound very promising .

Probably yes, but generally only for the sort of children who would cope in an LA mainstream and not require much, if any, additional support.

However, some of these schools will shy away from any child that needs quite a bit of support. Look at the SEN policy. If SEN support is all included then if the needs are more than they offer they may push you out. If the SEN support is charged extra then they may suddenly decide your child can only stay of you pay £x for a TA or for additional support lessons on top of the fees.
