Are there any unis which have a good reputation for supporting SEN students (ADHD in our case)? Interested in those who will take SEN into account in applications and those who have good support to help students succeed.

What kind of grade profile are you looking at, and for what subject?

All depends if DD holds it together or not. She's got the potential to do very well but has quite severe inattentive ADHD so we're considering the entire gamut of options.
Right now she's interested in Biology/health related course. SHe had to drop chemistry as it was too much for her. She's got Bio, Psych and English lit. She could get anything from D to A!! Current target is B.

My friend's nephew has Asperger's and he's thriving at Aber Uni (Aberystwyth). He's getting loads of support and has gone from being someone whose parents were worried about him going away to university at all to being on course for a First.

Right that’s a bit trickier!
I’d suggest trying to get a shortlist of universities which offer the rough course areas she’d like to do and meet any other criteria (campus or not, close to home, major city or not etc)
Then research the provision they offer to see if it’s right for your DD - both uni wide and subject specific.
I’d be wary of trying to start making choices based on ‘good SEN provision’ as the first determinate. The course needs to be what she’s interested in and a good fit for her, above all else or she won’t succeed regardless of support. There will also be loads of institutions with an extensive student support offer, but possibly not the bits that are most important to your daughter.
There is also Disabled Students Allowance which she should qualify for and will give her a great deal of support regardless of where she goes.
