Initial paediatrician visit

Hello, my youngest ds8 has always been very different from his older two siblings. He is chalk and cheese between school and home, has diagnosed processing issues via the speech therapist and I would say he definitely masks at school. From not speaking till after he turned 3, he seems to learn in fits and starts. He definitely has anxiety issues, but I’ve been concerned he may have other issues too. Having spoken to his speech therapist and his school he has been referred onto the paediatrician for an initial consultation. I’m of a mind that it is to as much as be a consultation to say he doesn’t have adhd/add or other diagnoses as to maybe say he has. It’s as much as to help navigate the best way to help him.
At school he is well behaved, tries hard, doesn’t flag up as having problems. But at home he can be an absolute handful, it’s as though he just releases all tension walking through the door. He can be angry, physical, argumentative, anxious. But he doesn’t show any of this in school.
Having had a speech therapist from an early age, he was signed off just before starting school. But in year 1 I approached a mum who is a speech therapist about his behaviour at home and if he was maybe still having problems. She did an assessment of him in school and from that came the working memory problems and processing issues. So school referred him back to the nhs speech therapy team and he has been working with them on and off since then.
To cut a long story short, I’m just curious as to how the initial paediatrician visit will go, how you have spoken to your child about it (so as not to give them further anxiety issues) and if you have any words of wisdom!
