Recommended Ed. psychs. in the Cardiff/Bristol areas ADHD

Can anyone recommend an ed. psych. to assess a young teenager diagnosed with ADHD, please?
In a nutshell, she was diagnosed at 7, has had various in-school assessments which show a spikey cognitive profile, e.g. executive function issues, poor working memory etc. She qualifies for 25% extra time in exams BUT the school doesn't seem to recognise the other needs and she doesn't get any kind of structured, targeted support in lessons.

It's come to a head this term, as it's become apparent that some/most of her teachers don't understand ADHD as a SpLD, so assume incomplete/missing work is down to laziness/carelessness.

We are trying to work with the school, but it's difficult; they are a selective school and even their SEN policy lumps ADHD in with emotional disorders and pervasive developmental disorders, rather than SpLD. They did suggest getting an ed. psych. report but only to ensure DD gets GCSE exam access arrangements in 2 years time - no suggestion of getting it so that the teachers can support her better.

So...We need to find someone with a good understanding of ADHD as a learning issue (DD has no real behavioural issues, and certainly none at school), what can detail exactly what classroom strategies she needs.

Not Bristol/Cardiff, but Hilary Dyer is in Worcester so not too far away.

Thanks, Bibesia. Have you got personal experience of her? I've looked at her website and she sounds great, but it would be good to hear first hand experience.

Not directly, but people I know have said she was good. No idea about her experience on ADHD, I'm afraid.

That's really helpful, thank you. I guess a good ed. psych is a good ed. psych., if you know what I mean - as long as they know how best to tackle the issues, it doesn't really matter what the cause is, I'm guessing.
