Hi,Ds2 has noonans syndrome and dyspraxia. He is 9 years old and has never been able to walk down stairs one at a time, always putting two feet on each step if that makes sense. It isn't a major issue, but he has been determined to go 'one footed' for a while now.
Today, after going to the para world athletics, we were coming down the station steps and he said 'mum, look'. I turned around and he was coming down the steps one at a time. The look on his face was a picture.
I know it isn't much, but to him ( and us) it is a huge deal, so I just wanted to say 'Well done !

Thanks user, I really am. he has managed one step at a time at home but not out and about in a busy place where he has to rush- he normally panics and goes even slower with two feet per step !

Thank you both . He is still flitting between two footed and one footed on steps, but is now doing one step at a time more regularly- we may have cracked this !
