Can anyone who has children at Frensham Heights and who have dyslexia how well the school support dyslexia? My son is 13, dyslexic and low memory but bright and articulate. He loves drama and drums. We currently live abroad and are looking to send him back to the UK for this Sept. Frensham seems to tick all the boxes (he does not suit a traditional school). My question is how well do they support dyslexia? I would say his dyslexia is moderate as opposed to mild. Do they support children 1-1? They have a place but I'm currently nervously waiting for them to get back having sent EP report. Any comments much appreciated.

Have you looked at More House which is literally a minute's drive away from Frensham Heights? They support a huge number of children with dyslexia. It is all boys but they do a lot of socials etc with a local girls' school. Their music department is quite incredible - I sat at a concert last night and it was as good as professional. My son has been there for the last couple of years and it has transformed him. They have both day and full boarders there. A lot of pupils move there from Frensham Heights as they are more able to deal with children with dyslexia.

Have to agree. My daughter was a FH for 5 years. Their support for dyslexia depends on the child. My son is at More House and that is the school you are looking for.
