Worry doll - son with Aspergers has released so many now!

I didn't know that my son HAD any worries but bought one of these on recommendation. Since buying it, his worries are pointing out of him onto scraps of paper that Flamm the worry doll zips up into its mouth. However, unlike my daughter's, my son's worries aren't then 'disappearing'. His are seeming to overwhelm him - and I'm concerned.
Although it's healthy for him to be expressing worries that may have been lurking all along, I'm concerned that this process will create a huge avalanche of conscious negative thinking that I'm unsure how to support.
(Please don't tell me to talk to CAHMS or PALMS as I've had so many chats with them, only to feel like this little guy taking to The Pink Numpties:

Thank you. How old was he at the time? My DS wasn't coming up with ANY worries before so I'm wary of starting an avalanche.

Just because I sense it could create a lot of negative thing and preoccupation for him
