My 10 yo daughter has recently been diagnosed with dyslexia, and now I'm wondering if her long term sleep issues are related to it. She is always tired, has trouble going to sleep, sleeps very lightly and wakes up very early (and always hops straight out of bed, despite feeling tired later on).
I've just googled it and read about studies that confirm that light sleep and dyslexia are related. But there's no mention of what to do about it, or what can help.
Any suggestions or experience appreciated (she has a regular routine, has tried milk before bed, no lights, black-out blinds etc...)???
