Dyslexia Support

I'm looking for a tutor (SW2 area) who uses a structured multi sensory approach. My DD was diagnosed with dyslexia last Christmas and has been receiving extra support from school, however I am concerned that it is not addressing her specific needs. Failing that , has anyone used any computer based programmes like easy read to help support their dyslexic child ?

Try PATOSS for a list of qualified specialist tutors. For reading and spelling, I find the Nessy programme is well structured and the children I teach enjoy it. I have the Deluxe version which comes with colour worksheets and card games (about £100) but there is a version that is just the games. Suitable from initial letter sounds right the way to really complex spelling patterns.
