Dyslexia - spelling resources?

DD, age 10, has been diagnosed as dyslexic though her main problem is spelling and working memory. Her reading appears fine.

Does anyone know of any software or good websites for helping her with spelling? I am wondering about buying Wordshark ?

Thanks!

I like Nessy. you may be able to get away with just buying the games player. Try it and see. Nessy animation is far superior to wordshark imo.

Nessy animation is far superior to Wordshark, I'd agree. Also, Wordshark is designed to offer games to practice/consolidate skills, it shouldn't be used as a teaching programme.

Thanks everyone, will look into Nessy!

wordshark is pants, my 9 yo ds says so, looks really babyish and amueter

AVKO sequential spelling has been (still is) fantastic.Ds (9yo) loves it; despite still being on book 1 he is now able to predict a very large number of words not previously done. Although the system is American, it offers both American and British spelling for any word that requires it(eg. mould and mold). There are the first few days available to try on their website.

Not software, but we've found the "ACE Spelling Dictionary" fantastic.
