Travel insurance for elderly visiting relatives?

I was wondering if you had any suggestions for good travel insurance products for elderly visiting relatives (in good health, but early 80s) from India. Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions.

Try Staysure. It’s going to cost, but I’m sure you will go ahead, quite rightly.

I think travel insurance has to be purchased in country they’re living in, worth checking with an insurer here first. Always s best to book travel insurance at same time as flights so covered from day one for cancellation. If you’re the one organising for them make sure you have list of all medications on and any medical conditions absolutely everything had to be declared otherwise can void a claim.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply @Cheersminesalargeone and @PermanentTemporary I'll check out Staysure, and also make sure everything is declared.

Hi @toodleoothen travel insurance should be purchased from the country where the person / persons reside. I think you also have to pay using a credit/debit card that is issued from India.

I used ICICI Lombard for my mum and found it relatively straightforward.

As mentioned by others, make sure to declare all pre-existing conditions.
