Still not there yet. I've decided to just keep building stock as I have a pre-schooler at home. I think It's going to take two days (school hours) at minimum plus a couple of evenings when children are in bed. The whole point for me, is to work it around my children (x3), so I'm just playing the waiting game for now but not doing nothing if that makes sense - sourcing outlets, building stock and generally learning more about what I'm doing. I don't envisage it will be very profitable but I am trading money for flexibility (and fortunately, I don't require a large income at present or it probably wouldn't be viable.) It is also something I feel I need to do to help build my self esteem and I have never had a career as such so quite fancy trying something of my own.

Yes, I would like to hear how everyone else is doing.

Which sector is your proposed business somuchcoffe?

Hi All,

Wonder if anybody can help - I'm looking for advise on how to patent a logo design that includes the business name - I've looked online but it seems very difficult to find an outline of the process. TIA

Have you tried Fiverr?

Anyone looking to start up up a business in East Sussex or Kent, you should consider joining the free start up programme called 'Her Biz'

It's a series of workshops that guide you to develop your business plan and gives you a chance to win £500 towards your start up costs.

It's been created in association with Natwest.

Details are here - www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/her-biz-free-business-start-up-workshops-tickets-147544017127

I started a business about three years ago, which now is successful to say so. I had help from prospectingtoolkit.com to arrange all the details and official documentation. The most important thing to remember when starting a business is to Conduct market research. Market research will tell you if there's an opportunity to turn your idea into a successful business. Write your business plan. Fund your business. Pick your business location. Choose a business structure. Choose your business name. Register your business. Get federal and state tax IDs. By keeping in mind those, you should be fine. I hope my advice will be helpful! Goodbye!
