Is B.Bjorn Active worth the extra money? Moby and Bjorn overkill?

I have a sensitive back and am wondering if the Baby Bjorn active is worth the extra investment?

Secondly, I also am keen to purchase a moby and would appreciate thoughts if the B. Bjorn is overkill with a moby?

Thanks!

BB Active definetly worth extra investment. With DS1 we had a basic BB model and only used for a few months, had active with DD and DS2 and used for a lot longer.

Active is much better, the lower back support makes it easier to use for longer. I lent mine to a friend who had the standard one and she went straight out and bought one as she found it much comfier.

I had a moby as well and did use both, The B Bjorn got more use from my DH and I used it when I needed to put it on in e.g. a wet car park or in the wind and the length of the Moby was a problem. But given the choice I would use the Moby as it was more snuggly and maybe a bit comfier for me as well. So I am glad I had both and will probably use them both again for my new baby when it arrives. (And then my Ergo and woven wrap later!)

I had an ancient old Baby Bjorn (no idea what model and probably not an Active!) and a Moby, and did use both of them. Moby probably got more use when DD was very small, and the Bjorn more when she was a bit bigger.

Agree with TitchyWitch - loved the Moby! Would probably be great if you have a sensitive back - I definitely found it more comfortable than the Bjorn.

Don't bother with the BB. Just get a moby - way more comfortable, and easy-peasy once you get the hang of it. If you're worried about getting too hot in the summer I'd just get a thinner woven wrap TBH - calin bleu perhaps, or if you want to stay with stretchy I thing hug-a-bubs are a bit thinner than mobys.

Active much better. Make sure you know how to put it on properly, though - see a lot of people with them hanging down uncomfortably low.
