Suggestions for sling for first few months

I have an Ergo which I used for both DCs until they were well over 2, but never quite as comfortable with the insert when newborn.

Am pg with DC3 and want something to do me until I can use the ergo without the insert. I am a novice with any other types of sling, but I doubt ring sling is right purely because DH will need to use it and he won't want loads of fabric hanging down!

I'm 5ft 6 and will have massive boobs (34k during past bf experiences!). DH is 6ft 2 and very slim. So the carrier needs to suit two very different physiques

get a nice stretchy wrap... I loved my moby

I loved my moby, a stretchy wrap. There is acres of fabric but its very easy to learn how to tie and you can pre tie it and pop baby in.

I have an... ahem... deep cleavage and I would often worry that dd had slipped into it and basically had her nose stuck between my boobs, which would have been suffocating. So you need to hoik baby up as high as possible and adjust when they slip down. Always close enough to kiss, and with big boobs make it even higher than that.

I do also have a ring sling, and having her off to the side removes the cleavage problem.

With wraps though you can create a pocket and lie them in a cradle position, but do be careful their neck isn't scrunched up and their face isn't covered. But there will be an instruction leaflet.

I think moby wraps are great when they're tiny. So comfy for them and easy to use once you get the hang of it. There's a great YouTube video if you google moby wrap newborn hug hold.

Moby wraps are great. A bit fiddly at first but so comfortable and snuggly. I loved mine.

A stretchy wrap, but I think there are better ones than the Moby.

I run a sling library, so have tried, used, and helped well over a hundred other people use, a variety of stretchy wraps.

What most people find works easiest with a small baby is a lighter weight wrap with lots of stretch, like the Hana Baby Wrap or Boba Wrap. The Moby is heavier (although not more supportive than the lighter ones I mention) and hotter.

Mobys get recommended a lot as they are still probably the best-known stretchy brand.

Thanks - lighter/cooler might be good as I'm not due until June (yes, this is a ridiculously thread but DH and I are probably more excited about having another baby to snuggle on our chests than pretty much anything else!) so I'll need this wrap for the (hopefully!) warm summer months.
