Does anyone else get backache

Granted it is a comfortable sling and I love using it but I have started to get backache :(

Also I've lost the instructions since using it with my previous baby but I'm sure you could carry baby facing out? But can't find anything on their site now except newborn hug, kangaroo etc but none outward facing.

I ask as my dd is starting to get restless facing in unless sleeping.

Thanks, def tight enough and all flat against back etc. She is 10lb now and 9weeks.

It maybe that I more prone to the backache or maybe it's because Im doing too much in it or wearing it for too long!

Dc is also fussing in it sometimes now think she would like free legs when awake but can't find my instructions to see when I can do that.

Does anyone know if the kari me is really any different to the moby as I've noticed moby have removed their back hold but kari haven't.

Ok thank you I did wonder that re back carry. Will need to peter my memory on the legs out my instructions are somewhere in the house but no idea where!

But I have a memory of a front hold for younger babies facing out with their legs kind of crossed. But like I say moby.website only have a couple of holes now so must have removed a few.

No point getting a kari me then, did think about a connecta but don't think it will be better on the back front

You tube have some fab videos demonstrating how to put the moby on / baby in so That their legs are supported and out.

I have a babyhawk mei tai and a history of backache but the mei tai is great...why don't you go to a local sling meet? Try a few different wraps/slings?

I would but unfortunately the nearest is an hour away just not viable have 4 under 6 and busy days so not easy for me to get to one around pre school and school runs unfortunately.

Thank you no where near Devon unfortunately.

I do like my moby so would like to get use out of it as can't really before another atm. I quite sure I'm having it on right as used it for a long time with previous dc so many it's just post fourth pregnancy with backache that's causing it to be less comfortable!

Originally started looking at connecta as the weather was hot completely changed now but it looks like dc would have more visibility when awake. I haven't tried one but would imagine they aren't as comfortable or supportive as a stretchy wrap with no buckles?

Don't want to stop carrying as I love it and to be honest it's a must with my other dcs around plus with live in a rural area and like to go for field/non pushchair friendly walks regularly.

I personally didn't get on with a buckle mei tai, so I went back to the tie one and its definitely more supportive! Remember your baby isn't very old, backache might be nothing to do with your wrap but just recovering from the birth, somedays I ache so bad and DD is 9 months!
