Which stretchy wrap, and where to buy?

I am expecting DC2 in early October, and am keen to get something comfier than our Baby Bjorn to use, as I think it'll make looking after my toddler easier! I was fortunate to be able to try out someone's stretchy wrap, and have gone from thinking they were a bit too complicated, to thinking it's something I could happily use with a little bit of practice.

I know there are lots of different brands, but I'm not really clear what the differences are - how should I decide?! Also, can anyone recommend any sites they've used, to buy one?

I had the Moby Wrap and LOVED it for both my kids. Infact I am holding onto it for when I have grand babies!

Hi redkites, I've got a moby I'm happy to send if you want to try it, saves me putting it on freecycle. Pm me if so

I'm a Moby fan too. Get one, you won't regret it! Smile

Can highly recommend a boba wrap (used to be called a sleepy wrap) and I had never used a wrap before. The boba wrap is super comfy and supportive and really easy to use because of the stretch. I bought it off www.slumber-roo.co.uk they are really helpful and sell all diff brands of wrap and carrier - you can call and ask for advice and they have a fb page which is helpful for advice too. Enjoy babywearing it's a lovely experience Wink

What Loopyloveschocolate said. Plus the Wrapsody, which is my favourite stretchy by a long way. It is more of a hybrid, so unlike most stretchies you can use it for back carries. It is cooler than a Moby too. But it is pricier.

For a summer baby I'd steer clear of the Moby/Close as very warm. But for a winter baby I'd pick a Moby - you should be able to find one for around £15 on ebay.

Hi all, thanks for all the advice, it's really appreciated, and also for all your enthusiasm - my DH still doesn't quite get why this is something I'm interested in.
CalamityJones - thanks for your kind offer, I will PM you.
