The local health authority and council are hosting a baby show. There are going to be lots of stalls and business there. I have been asked to run the real nappie stall and sling stall as I have used both with my 3children. Lots of mums ask my advice at the local breastfeeding drop in. I an daunted want to provide good info and good advice where do I start.

Contact various real nappy sellers/manufacturers (tots bots, close parent, screaming green, nappy lady, fill your pants, cheeky wipes etc) and tll them what you are plannign to do. They may offer samples of their nappies for on the day demos, or trial buckets if that was something you wanted to offer.
They may have posters or statistics they could send you for information as to 'why use real nappies' or to make the back ground to your stand more colourful.
Is there a local sling meet who could lend/demo various designs of sling (wraps, mei tei, the 'caboo' (my personal favourite ;))as the close carrier is now known)
Does your local NCT group have a nappy advisor?

Good luck - it'll be fun

I agree with pp - for slings, check out your local sling library or sling meet. If you don't have one, it is probably worth posting on www.naturalmamas.co.uk boards for some local help. Apart from anything else it would be useful to have someone to help you - explaining about different slings etc takes time, especially if you're demonstrating anything

Thanks. I am the local sling library we are in a rural area in scotland. Is there any good websites for sling info. I know which ones I like but want to give a broad view of what is available. Nappies are fine as I set up the cashback scheme with the council 5years ago. And they have trial buckets which I just need to update.
