Does this work for people who only need to lose a ‘bit’ of weight?

I need to lose about a stone and a bit. I heard from someone that it’s great for people who have an unhealthy diet and have a good bit to lose. I eat well just eat too much! I also like to have about 6 glasses of wine at weekend. Is this possible?

really sick of calorie counting

Well done on the loss MissCalamity. That’s great.
How much are you hoping to lose?

Some dinner ideas below which I use a lot and are all crowd pleases (so no separate cooking!)
I work late twice a week so save those nights for them to have pizza, sausages or creamy sauce based pasta as I’m not there!!

*Skinny Burgers/salad/homemade chips or wedges
*Steak/homemade chips/grilled mushrooms
*Jacket potatoes and choice of fillings
*Spag Bol
*Cottage pie
*Diet Coke chicken and rice
*Chilli and rice
*Chicken breast with bacon and cheese- put these in burger buns tonight with salad and wedges.
*Burritos/ nachos and corn on cob
*3% fat meatballs (M&S) and spaghetti- homemade tomato sauce
*Roast chicken with veg, or salad.

Some of these I use syns for- like Burritos- I measure out my nachos and make them in a separate dish. I use a SW wrap and also use my cheese allowance. I save some syns for the sour cream, salsa and guacamole.

Burgers - again I use my bread allowance.

I buy the 5% mince too.

Tesco do a coleslaw bag with a sachet of mayonnaise to mix up fresh yourself. I take out my portion and use fat free yogurt instead to keep it free.

Hopefully they’ll give you some ideas!

My favourite breakfast at the moment is fat free Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of peanut butter stirred in and mixed with a grated apple and sliced banana. Raspberries on top. It looks like Eton mess and is very yummy!

Sorry haven’t been on in ages, still going well. I’m now down 3lbs in I think 5 weeks but still drinking at weekend and haven’t counted it out for dinner etc so delighted I’ve managed to lose each week. I’m really trying to stick to a slow and steady approach

Stayed the same this week, but had a big weekend so was happy enough. Nothing on this week so hopefully a loss next week 🤞

How’s it all going?

We are in the midst of the GCSEs in our house and the kitchen is full of cake and chocolate to keep the energy levels up! Being strong and resisting but I did have crisps and wine last night for treat day!

I lost 1lb last week which isn’t amazing but better then nothing.
Ive lost a total of 17lbs now in 11 weeks.

Still taking it a day at a time…

Hi all.
Hope you are all doing well. After a pound gain and then a maintain, I have lost 4.5 lbs and 3 lbs the last 2 weeks. 🫪 So 10.5lbs lost up to now. I haven't had alcohol since the 2nd May (not that I'm counting or anything!)
I'm aiming to loose about 2 to 2 1/2 stone, I just want to be my pre pregnancy weight again.
We've also got GCSE's @winesolveseverything, I'm sure I feel more stressed than my son 🙈 2 more tomorrow then the half term. We're going away for a few days to Wales, so I hope I can attempt to stay on track, especially if the weather is as lovely as it says it's going to be!
