Does this work for people who only need to lose a ‘bit’ of weight?

I need to lose about a stone and a bit. I heard from someone that it’s great for people who have an unhealthy diet and have a good bit to lose. I eat well just eat too much! I also like to have about 6 glasses of wine at weekend. Is this possible?

really sick of calorie counting

Well done on the loss MissCalamity. That’s great.
How much are you hoping to lose?

Some dinner ideas below which I use a lot and are all crowd pleases (so no separate cooking!)
I work late twice a week so save those nights for them to have pizza, sausages or creamy sauce based pasta as I’m not there!!

*Skinny Burgers/salad/homemade chips or wedges
*Steak/homemade chips/grilled mushrooms
*Jacket potatoes and choice of fillings
*Spag Bol
*Cottage pie
*Diet Coke chicken and rice
*Chilli and rice
*Chicken breast with bacon and cheese- put these in burger buns tonight with salad and wedges.
*Burritos/ nachos and corn on cob
*3% fat meatballs (M&S) and spaghetti- homemade tomato sauce
*Roast chicken with veg, or salad.

Some of these I use syns for- like Burritos- I measure out my nachos and make them in a separate dish. I use a SW wrap and also use my cheese allowance. I save some syns for the sour cream, salsa and guacamole.

Burgers - again I use my bread allowance.

I buy the 5% mince too.

Tesco do a coleslaw bag with a sachet of mayonnaise to mix up fresh yourself. I take out my portion and use fat free yogurt instead to keep it free.

Hopefully they’ll give you some ideas!

My favourite breakfast at the moment is fat free Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of peanut butter stirred in and mixed with a grated apple and sliced banana. Raspberries on top. It looks like Eton mess and is very yummy!

Sorry haven’t been on in ages, still going well. I’m now down 3lbs in I think 5 weeks but still drinking at weekend and haven’t counted it out for dinner etc so delighted I’ve managed to lose each week. I’m really trying to stick to a slow and steady approach

Stayed the same this week, but had a big weekend so was happy enough. Nothing on this week so hopefully a loss next week 🤞

How’s it all going?

We are in the midst of the GCSEs in our house and the kitchen is full of cake and chocolate to keep the energy levels up! Being strong and resisting but I did have crisps and wine last night for treat day!

I lost 1lb last week which isn’t amazing but better then nothing.
Ive lost a total of 17lbs now in 11 weeks.

Still taking it a day at a time…

Hi all.
Hope you are all doing well. After a pound gain and then a maintain, I have lost 4.5 lbs and 3 lbs the last 2 weeks. 🫪 So 10.5lbs lost up to now. I haven't had alcohol since the 2nd May (not that I'm counting or anything!)
I'm aiming to loose about 2 to 2 1/2 stone, I just want to be my pre pregnancy weight again.
We've also got GCSE's @winesolveseverything, I'm sure I feel more stressed than my son 🙈 2 more tomorrow then the half term. We're going away for a few days to Wales, so I hope I can attempt to stay on track, especially if the weather is as lovely as it says it's going to be!

Solidarity on the GCSEs. Half term here too- you would think my son had finished his exams the way he is behaving. He had Friday off but needs to get back to the revision now- cue me getting a bit shouty and stressed!

Well done on your loss- you are doing really well.
I have lost just under a pound this week which isn’t great- I know I’ve cheated on the syns a bit and probably gone slightly over each day.

It’s going to be hard with no school this week too as the routine goes out the window somewhat. I’m on 12 hr shifts tomorrow and Wednesday which will probably do me a favour.

All I want to do is sit in the garden with a cold glass of wine and Pringles! I really miss crisps!! On the plus side all my summer clothes are loose and look much better- so trying to focus on that.

Enjoy your time away!

Im an alike, So I need to use my swips for alcohol , and Ive lost two stone and have maintained for 3 years now

So going out on the lash at the weekend shouldn't be a bother, if you are optimising all your meals

I am 100% food optimising food so I have the swips for booze

And it's not hard. I home cook everything ( that's a pain tbh ) and the odd time we do eat out/off plan , I dont worry because I know the rest of my week is in plan and as they love to say - optimised

The zero alcohol wine is really low in swipe I think 3 for the whole bottle, I know it’s not booze but I think helpful to at least pretend. I’ve not had a drink in months and have lost over 2 stone. I feel so much better too, much clearer headed and sleeping so much better. I’m not saying you have to give up booze but it’s really helpful to do to boost weeks. Same with the 0% beer tastes the same and hot the stress spot.
