Currently doing WW and wondering what the differences are apart from the cost (WW much cheaper!)

It’s basically the same diet but in reverse (I think). WW has points which you then bulk out with foods with zero points. SW has a wider range of free/zero foods (including things like some types of pasta and rice) and you use your ‘syns’ to make them taste interesting or to have small treats.

I’m taking Mounjaro but following WW so I can keep track of my calories. I personally prefer WW over SW as I think it’s better at teaching portion control. Just my opinion!

I could eat a whole bowl of pasta easy enough and that is what really makes me think that WW might be better even though I am becoming disheartened at the moment with it.

From memory, they encourage you to eat in a balanced way and (if I remember correctly) structure your meals into threes - a carb, a protein and a veg. I still think they’re essentially the same though!

I’m not here to sell anyone MJ but so far it’s the only thing I’ve been able to stick to.

I don’t like either of them particularly, but definitely preferred WW. I think just eating a healthy, balanced diet is best. Anything that promotes low fat/sweetener type products is not the best diet to follow. (I’m using MJ too, but it doesn’t work without changing your diet as well).

I’ve stuck to WW for around 4 years and kept the majority off!
