Question of the spray oil thing

I used to use this but it ruined one of my pans. I have heard the same from other people. Can you recommend a pan where it does not do this. What pan do you have?

If it ruined your pan imagine what it's doing to your insides! Get a spray bottle and fill with regular oil you will still use way less.

Thanks I will try that!

I used to use this but found the taste was awful and I’d rather use olive oil or butter but be careful with the amounts.

I use a teaspoon of olive oil instead. It’s a minimal syn and makes no difference to my weight.

The ingredients worries me so I do the above, olive oil in a pump spray 🥳

It may be because your pan was too hot (Frylight says on the bottle to use at medium heat). I just use a tiny amount of oil as I don't like the taste of Frylight either.

I don't understand why so many people are funny about the ingredients in Frylight (I think it's just oil, alcohol, water and emulsifier?) but are perfectly happy to eat things like hifi bars and those awful skinny syrups! 🤢

Thanks all. I will just be mean with the real oil!

Frylite ruins nonstick

Even my consultant doesn't use it

Get a spray bottle which fine mists and use a good quality oil. Give a good shake before spraying. I can cook air fry chips for 3 in less then a teaspoon of oil and they come out crisp and golden

This always cracks me up....yes, because your insides are made of metal and are heated to 200 degrees c??!

I have Le Creuset frying pans and was told by them not to use spray oils on them. I bought a £10 pan from Tesco specifically for use with spray oil.
