Salad and veg is widely encouraged so you could do it without fruit x

I found I didn't have the time or the initial cost for sw meals. Obviously everything is from scratch and a lot of spices etc I didnt have, I also found even just mince for example to be expensive when buying the less than 5% fat for a family of 4. Everything needs prepping and cooking, the simple meals only stay interesting for so long. The plan itself worked but I didn't have the time or money to follow it for best results

You don't need to eat fruit at all

You could have something egg based or just toast/cereal for breakfast
Lunch you could have salad, pasta, or a baked potato
Dinner you could have spag Bol, shepherds pie, stir fry, sausages and mash and veg etc.
Puddings you could have yoghurt, sugar free jelly, or a small amount of something synned like chocolate.
Snacks you can have cold meat like ham or chicken, pickles, salad veg, olives.

You can eat almost anything they're just examples you just use the sw recipes

Can be a lot of cooking unless you live near an Iceland!

I’d go for it.
I eat a lot of tinned tuna which is cheap and quick to prepare. I also buy lots of tins of chickpeas, beans and lentils which I drain, rinse and tip into a salad without cooking. Super cheap and easy! Couscous takes no cooking, just soaking in boiling water, as do noodles.
