Can't find anything to satisfy sweet tooth (not fruit!)

Me and my OH are doing ok on SW but now and again we have a major craving for something that may resemble the taste or texture of a cake, cheesecake or chocolate bar.
So nothing yoghurty or fruity.

Also not something that's 'only 4 syns' for something the size of a postage stamp.

I don't ask for much.

Does anything exist?

I don't know about SW and syns but what about meringue nests? you can fill them with fruit / fat free greek yogurt or half fat creme fraiche....

Just have something you actually like and syn it. Chocolate bars are not that high in syns.

ibuiltahomeforyou · 27/08/2017 19:43

It sounds like you're after syn free cake!! Grin I'd just have the cake and syn it. Maybe a portion controlled one e.g. Mr Kipling so you know it's accurate. Then just eat it slowly!

I have prunes in the evening, they are lovely! Also make protein balls with cacao, dates, almond and vanilla but I realise they are but to everyone's taste.

RinonaWyder · 27/08/2017 19:45

Have you tried fibre one? They're quite cakey, maybe on the small side though.

BaggyAnn · 27/08/2017 19:48

How about this twochubbycubs.com/2017/06/12/chubby-cheesecake/ some other good recipes on here too

Wellmeetontheledge · 27/08/2017 19:49

Alpro dots chocolate or caramel deserts are quite low syn and delicious.

emwithme · 27/08/2017 20:02

Waitrose Belgian Chocolate Frozen Yoghurt is 15 syns for the (500ml) tub, and doesn't taste like diet chocolate.

The mini vienettas from Iceland are apparently 3.5 syns each, but I've never had one myself.

I tend to save my HEBs for the evening and have a chocolatey hifi bar to curb my cravings. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (damn hormones)

Geepee71 · 28/08/2017 10:37

Emwithme, great news the Vienna bars are only 3 syns each, they are really tasty and not huge, they aren't tine.
Op I'd suggest having a slice of real cake and synning it accordingly. Even if you have to borrow syns from next day!

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 28/08/2017 10:40

Eat some cake and syn it. The whole point of slimming world is it's a lifelong change which means the occasional piece of cake is ok.

And don't get taken in by any of the slimming world cake recipes... I tried so many and come to the conclusion there is no such thing as a satisfying diet cake.

Northernmum100 · 29/08/2017 22:25

Aero mousse - freeze it then eat it. Takes ages to hack away at it so double bonus-chocolate hit plus lasts a long time😊

WhatsGoingOnEh · 29/08/2017 22:30

Have you not tried the HiFi bars they sell in group? I think they're LOVELY. 2 of the bars count as your HexB. Do it do it do it!

cottonwool125 · 29/08/2017 22:32

There's a company called The Skinny Bakery, that do reduced fat, sugar and calorie biscuits and cakes. Might be worth a look Smile I know a fair few people on SW order from them, as you get a higher quantity for your syns than normal 'full fat' treats.

If you have Instagram, you can find them on there if you want to have a look at their photos/comments etc Smile

Boatsnack · 30/08/2017 21:35

I would just have cake and syn it accordingly. There are a few cheesecake recipes in this month's magazine that look good too.

Curly wurly, keep them in the freezer and they take ages to eat

Thebluedog · 31/08/2017 13:15

I slice bars bars and freeze the slices, take ages to eat and you can eat half rather than a whole bar

Thebluedog · 31/08/2017 13:16
