Had 3 teeth and part of my lower jawbone removed yesterday. Haven't eaten since Sunday night. I don't know what to try that is SW friendly. I have managed 2 cups of tea today but my face is very swollen, I have a load of stitches and I'm not allowed to use a straw.

I think anything spicy is probably out due to the wounds. Just having a mind blank as to soft foods other than ice cream!!

Iceland do some nice SW soups - or make your own if you feel up to it?

Soft boiled egg beaten up in a cup with your HEXB bread as soldiers.

Scrambled egg

You poor thing! I second the sw soups or uncle bens do micro pouches of risotto which are quite low.

Could you manage some porridge maybe? Or some mashed banana, or sweet potato cooked and mashed?

Poor you Sad

I'm a little bit worried about anything grainy getting caught in the sockets, I definitely don't want to be digging bits out. Have just eaten a Muller Light but feel a bit yuck now and still hungry.

Scrambled egg might be pretty good though and is protein so may give me some energy. I forgot about SW soups too, I will ask DH to pop to Iceland tomorrow, I like the pea and mint one usually and that's very smooth from what I remember.

I even thought about protein shakes or Slimfast shakes but have no idea what these would be syn wise. I've come so far with SW that I don't want to go off track because if this although ice cream sounds bliss!

Thank you for your suggestions, think I'm a little fuzzy from the general anesthetic still.

What about a nice smooth soup, left to cool a bit - leek and potato or sweet potato and butternut squash. I make Nigella's BNS and sweet potato - a 350g bag of ready chopped veg, 750 mil chicken stock, cooked for 20 mins then blitzed. She adds spices but you could leave these out, it's a really smooth comforting soup

Maybe some pasta cooked longer than usual until soft, or mash with some HEA cheese mixed in

Think soup will be the way forward, that Nigella one sounds nice thanks. Hopefully will have a little more energy tomorrow to give it a go.
