Have had a really emotional few months and been eating very badly. As a resilt I'm now at my heaviest ever and am feeling it's affecting my physical health. I've tried to go back to SW but just can't stick with it. In reality I know once I get started I know I'll be ok but I'm still pretty raw emotionally and I think I might break down in meeting when it's my turn to talk about how I've been doing. Do you think it would be ok to contact leader in advance and ask if she could skip me from discussion and let me sit thru meetings just til I get back on an even keel? Sorry this post is a bit long. Just don't know who else to ask!

I am sure that would be fine. Good luck at getting back on track. (())

Yes I would discuss with your leader. I hope you feel better soon.

There was a lady in my old group who had anxiety issues and the leader was good , when she was reading losses out and it was lady's turn she just said hello to Kathy and you are doing well and quickly moved on . X

Our group leader would be fine with this. We can txt her so I would be inclined to do that or mention it on your first visit at the end when everyone's gone. Good luck. First step is walking through the door and please stay to your group even if you just get a clap for turning up the first few weeks xx

Your group leader should do this. In my group she puts a note against your name so when she is going through everyone she will pass over you
