Does this sound ok for a day menu?

Not sure I understand this diet fully and I don't have the time to really learn about it but have heard so many good things I want to give it a go.

After reading up a bit I have come up with a draft one day diet - does this sound ok?

Breakfast - Scrambled egg and half a tin of beans on one slice of wholemeal bread. Apple for afters.

Lunch - Batchelors Cheese and Broccoli pasta N Sauce & Muller light yogurt.

Dinner - Asda reduced fat sausages with mash potato and peas (and a mini yorkshire pud). Peach for afters.

Supper - options hot chocolate.

Does this sound ok?

Ummm... is it a diet from somewhere?

Breakfast sounds fine. Lunch and Dinner sound revolting and far too processed. Sorry. I would just personally prefer fresh food - stir fry or lean marinaded chicken breast and loads of different vegetables. Or a huge plate of salad with something lean. Or fish and green vegetables. Or couscous and a spicy vegetable stew.

I hate anything marked reduced fat.

It's fine and on the SW plan, but I would personally add more fruit and veg. If you're doing extra easy then at least 1/3 of your plate is supposed to be 'superfree', which is most fruit and veg.

I think you're missing half a HEB (its normally 2 small slices if bread)
I am assuming that you're using milk or cheese in the mash or pastansauce for you A choice?
our consultant always says to have the superfree first as then you're fuller before you start on syns and free food and might eat less of them! (remember peas are free not superfree)
I like to keep a bag of sugar snap peas (these are free, its confusing!) or carrots to munch on if I get hungry.

You need to eat the whole portion of HEB otherwise it turns into syns.

You need more fruit and veg (esp super free)

I would add some grilled or fry-lighted mushrooms to breakfast, make pasta with broccoli & use v.light Philadelphia rather than a packet, add an extra portion of veg instead of the Yorkshire pud & have some fruit for snacks in between. As others have said your menu looks very light on super free food ie fresh fruit & veg and IME the eating too many processed diet/low fat foods isn't sustainable for a longer term eating plan (& goes against what makes SW a healthy way of losing weight with far more chance of sticking to it)

can someone tell me what HEB is please all these SILLY abbrieviations mean NOTHING to ME .....Please Help x

Healthy Extra B.

Interesting about having to have the whole HEB or it becomes syns, I didn't know that.
