DS is a nightmare to get to sleep unless it's really dark. Has anyone got one of these blinds (or similar) www.johnlewis.com/230645649/Product.aspx?source=14798

Are they worth the money? we're going on holiday in a few weeks and don't know whether to get one or not?

Oh, oh I have been after one of those blinds for a while and Mothercare are always out of stock! Thank you, thank you, I didn't realise John Lewis sold them.

I've heard good things about them on here and in online reviews.

I can never get the bloody suckers to stick properly but I know other people think they are fantastic.

We have it - and use it in DS2's bedroom throughout the year. He's a rubbish sleeper if there is any light around and the blind is brilliant at keeping the light out. Definitely recommend it.

I can't get the suckers to stick properly either but I think it would probably be easier if the window were cleaner

We're using it on a sash window behind a normal blind and it still seems to let some light through around the edges. (Maybe it would work better on a different type of window/behind a curtain?)

DS has black out blinds and linings in his bedroom. he window is huge and goes from wall to wall so some light still comes in at the edges.

i was hoping the stick on one would be good to take away and save me pegging blankets etc up at the window. maybe i need to take some windowlene with me as well

Have you considered Magic Blackout Blind?

www.magicwhiteboard.co.uk/magic-blackout-blind/order/

Its sheets of electro static plastic that stick on the window. Boots and Rymans sell it about £35.00. I've got it and I think its more reliable than the suckers

Best blackout blind for really blocking out all light that I've come across is www.easyblindsonline.co.uk/10.html

Can also get the blind with suckers there
