Is this wind??

DD, 4 months old, has been a pretty good sleeper so far. I give her a dream feed (she is bottle fed) at around 11.30/12 each night and next feed is usually around 7am, she may wake once but goes back to sleep with some patting.
The past 3 nights she has been waking every 1-2 hours after the dream feed with an uncomfortable cry, her head and back are arched back and she is tilting a bit on her side.
She does get up wind after her feed but I have a feeling she may have more? and not sure how I can wind her better? I lie her on her back for a bit and then hold her straight up/put her on my lap then wind her, and I also sometimes do the yoga hold. Any advice please?

COuld be wind, yes.

Ds used to be better help on his tummy for a wee while.

More likely 4 month growth spurt. It'll pass in a week or two.

Can you try lying her on her left hand side after a feed for a bit (whilst she's asleep), say thirty mins, then put back on her back? Being on her left makes it easier to bring up any wind (my DS has reflux so we let him sleep like that).

Or after the feed keep her upright and wind by rubbing for about twenty mins. Again, I did this and would always get a massive burp right at the end when I thought there was no more!

Thank for tip Igglybuff, had her at the doctor yesterday as previous night particularly bad and it may be reflux so trying gaviscon and will put her on her left side after the next feed and see if that helps

Good luck, I hope the gav helps. We moved onto ranitidine as the gaviscon didn't help much particularly with the night discomfort caused by stomach acid. The ranitidine neutralises it. But I know other babies where gaviscon made a huge difference.
We've also got DS's cot elevated at the head end which also helps too. You can buy cot blocks or use books. We got the blocks as more sturdy.
