or perhaps the Sleepytime Bunny Clock or the Kidsleep clock??

we have the kidsleep clock (I think - the one with 2 pics of a rabit; one asleep in bed and one skipping in the sunshine)

my dds (5 and 3, the 5 year old is ASD) share a room, and we strted having huge problems when dd2 changed form a cot to a bed. dd2 was waking dd1, and they were coming out of their room, flooding the bathroom etc etc.

got the clock, and together with bribing (they get a single choc chip if they read nicely together when awake) we have solved most issues.

they do still wake earlier than before (wake between 6 and 7 am) but now they stay in their room instead of running riot through the house.

it would have worked for dd2 without the choc, I think, but dd1 needed the added incentive (despite never having thought to leave the room before dd2 put her up to it! )

I would say the Lumie alarm clock is for late wakers, or if it's dark and you need to get LOs up early. The light starts coming on half hour before the time set, so it might be a bit confusing. That said we have a grown up version and it is fantastic for getting up in the winter.

Was also thinking that the Lumie clock also does the "sunset" at bedtime which we don't need at all and it's not clear if this is an optional function or not (suspect not!).

So Bumperlicious, thank you for saving me a bad buy!

Silverfrog - thanks. I think we may try the Kidsleep clock. Have tried everything else!!

The way it works is if the clock is set to 'sunrise' and you leave the light on at night it will also do 'sunset', not if you switch the light off though.

Just for the record I don't think it is a bad buy at all, it's fab and I love mine, and have convinced about 4 friends and family to get one. But it is definitely not what you are looking for.

I am quite interested in one of type of clocks you are looking for though.
