As the mother of a VERY noisy REM sleeper (not to mention all the grunting, squealing and yowling when she's passing wind in her sleep)...at what age do they tend to get quieter? I know noisy sleep is more common in premature babies (my DD was four weeks early), although I think most newborns are often pretty snuffly at the very least...

Anyway, I'd be interested to hear the experiences of other mums - when did your baby start sleeping quietly?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I can't remember exactly but he's 4 months now and quiet.

my 5 year old was a noisy sleeper and even now talks in his sleep.
i think you just tune it out eventually.

I suppose I should be thankful she can't talk yet, at least!

Ds was very very noisy as a baby (he was 6 weeks early). I didn't sleep until he moved out of our room.

He is now 3 and still snores so loudly I sometimes think it is dh.

On the plus side I never needed to go into his room and disturb him to check on him, I could hear him breathing from halfway across the landing!

Groan!!!

I know what you mean, though, the times when she's asleep quietly, I'M too worried to sleep because I can't hear her breathing. Can't win!
