Thread for those who are dog tired

I am so sleep deprived and cannot remember the last full night of uninterrrupted sleep I had. My 12 month old seems to be regressing and for the last 4 months seems to have forgotten how to go through without waking at least twice for long periods. Today started at 5am, and I am dead on my feet, ratty and short tempered as a consequence. I'm not really looking for solutions but just need a rant. If anyone had told me just how tired you become starting with pregnancy and continuing seemingly forever, well.....

I'm in on this thread. However, I have to say that your OP is seriously depressing. My DS is only 4 months and, although it's no surprise that he wakes now, I hope he'll be sleeping through by 12 months. I also have a 2.3 year old DD and between the two of them I am going 24 hrs. I'm exhausted, short-tempered and feeling rather frayed around the edges. I love both of them dearly, and we have lots of fun, but I really am the most knackered I have ever been in my life.

the most depressing part is that we did get about 4-5 months where he slept really well all the way through the night; have just bought a book from the millpond sleep clinic in desperation

Well, I have a 6 yo who still sleeps erratically! Her siblings are no problem.

Does that cheer you up?

Best to grab 40 winks in the day if you can.

not really no!

We had a sleep study done at Hosp, found low sats and some breathing obstruction but nothing can be done....

I can hear her moaning in her sleep now. Grrrr!
