30 min napping - when does it get better?

Have been reading on here about other mum's who struggle with babies that nap for only 30mins, have resigned myself to putting up with this as I can't seem to extend their naps with any amount of shushing, patting, rocking, feeding, walking in buggy etc So if it's something that some little babies just do when does it start to get better.

I have twins and a toddler and am desperate for them to start to nap a bit longer in the day so I can have more than 30mins to get some things done, so was wondering if those of you who have been through this could give me an idea of when it got better for you.
Cheers

Babies do seem to have sleep cycles that are individual to each one: DS1 slept 30min, then would wake up, DS2 slept 45 min. If I could get either one of them "passed" their respective "arousal" times they would sleep another 30/45min respectively. IIRC, they started doing this more reliable after about 6 months. How old are your LOs? Have you tried a dummy? DS1 took a dummy and it changed my life! DS2 was not at all interested.
Sorry, I know it is not much, but HTH. Remind yourself, it WILL get better.
And, BTW, respect, twins AND a toddler!!

It got better for me after I introduced solids. Is it the twins who are not napping well? Mine used to go back off to sleep sometimes if I fed them when they woke.

Twins are 15 weeks, one does take a dummy, she's the best sleeper at night, but the worst napper. They're breastfed, so thinking of introducing some ff to see if fuller tummies might help, or even baby rice if I can't get them to take a bottle. I know it's a bit early but no one is allergic to rice as far as I know.

IME, what, when, how, how much babies feed makes no difference to how they sleep. For my 3 boys it has entirely been a developmental issue - growing up helps with sleep.

DS (3mo) has just started to only nap 30mins at a time. He'll go for much longer in a sling or if I use the excuse to have a nap too and co-sleep.
He's sleeping on me right now in fact, and probably building up all sorts of bad sleep associations but he just looks soooo cute...

Mummyfor3 I also think it's possibly developmental, just trying to eliminate any other possible causes and maybe get an idea of when I can hope for things to improve. Obviously all babirs are different but share similar developmental patterns.

Mine will sleep well in slings, but that doesn't work if I'm on my own with two babies, and sadly you can't get a lot of co sleeping done with a crazy toddler around.
