What's your 12 month's sleep pattern at night?

Our DS still wakes a fair bit, sometimes just needs a little stroke and he's back to sleep, but he still has one bottle at night at about 4. then he's up for good between 5.30 and 6.00. Now that I'm 12 weeks preg. I'm desp in need of a good night's sleep and can hardly function on the current schedule.

What's your experience? Any tips?

Thanks.

my ds wakes around 4.30/ 5 for a feed. He used to wake every 3 hours so it is a step in the right direction. I am barely functioning at work. Have been thinking about doing wake to sleep as have tried most other things.
No real tips - just to let you know you are not alone

bed at 7 feeds again at 10 and 4-5 up at 7.30
this is an imprvovement on waking every 3 hours until last few weeks!

FWIW dd is no.3 and i am at loss as no.2 was a fab sleeper and i didn't do anything different!

Bed at 7.30, wakes to feed at 11ish, 3ish and 5ish . She is only really hungry at 11 and 5 though, i just feed her at 3 for a easy life

main reason that ttc no 2 is very much on hold!!

I have 12 month old DTs. Until 2 weeks ago they went to bed at 7ish and DS2 would wake about 6am and DD about 7am. Now they go to bed about 7:15pm and usually wake up about 7:30am. Both sometimes wake in night briefly but generally can be ignored and will go back to sleep within a couple of mins.

We did however have to do sleep training on DD at 6 months (with outside help...).

They are just in process of dropping morning nap so are sleeping a bit less in day. Usually sleep 2 to 2.5 hrs in daytime.

Bed at around 7 then wakes at about 5.30. She can sometimes be tempted back to sleep with a cuddle until 6.30 / 7.

This is all quite recent and did require some firm persuasion. She was waking 4 times ish a night beforehand. We don't feed at night anymore and that helped a lot.

thanks everyone for your experiences. LaTrucha do you mean you don't feed at all from going to bed to getting up in the morning? Been wondering about this and even trying it but he has the most enormous frightening tantrums. wanted to know if others tried same and if it helped. thanks

Generally (although this can be thrown off by all sorts of things) DS is asleep by 7-7.30, dream feed at 10 then sleeps till any time between 5 and 6.30. If he wakes between 10 and 5 I don't give milk, (DH deals) but he seems to have stopped that so long as he gets his dream feed (otherwise he wakes around 1-2 for a feed)

After a while she was just waking for a feed at 5.30. This kept creping back to 5, 4.45, 4.30 etc and she wasn't going bacl to sleep very well so I decided to just give a cuddle instead. The first morning she cried in my arms for 45 minutes which wasn't nice. I just kept trying different things - stroking her tummy has been most effective but sometimes she likes to put my nose in her mouth . After that it's been mostly fine. SHe's gone back to waking at 5.30 and sometimes even 6 and usually goes straight to sleep in my arms for an hour or so.

Then she started waking for cuddles... but that's another story!

Her sleep is still very dependent on her teeth and whatever is going on in her tummy. But I do think that now she is not waking without a reason.
