Co-sleepers: How do you manage on holiday in a smaller bed???

We are co-sleeping with my 4 month old in a superkingsize bed. I have a bedrail on my side. When we go to Center Parcs in early January, we will be in just a regular double bed. That will seem cramped for just dh and me, let alone having a baby in with us. Also, I am travelling by train and do not want to take the bedrail if I can help it. So, how on earth will we manage???

we co sleep in a regular double bed - it can be done! you'll manage.

When we had this problem it came down to one of two options - dp on floor/sofa whilst baby and I luxuriated, or dp and baby comfy in bed whilst I huddled carefully round everybody and got no sleep.

But that was when we had to all share a v v small double double bed that folded out from under a bunk bed. We were used to all sharing a normal double.

Sorry for double double - have had wine, should say, v v small double or maybe even big single.

I co-sleep with DD in a 6ft 6 " superking bed. DH sleeps on the sofa. On holiday he sleeps in a single bed in another room

We have had to all 3 share a normal double bed and none of us slept well.

There is not an option of another room to sleep in (all other rooms ocupied) and he can't really sleep on the sofa as we are sharing the house with another family. And I really don't think I could ask dh to sleep on the floor!
