DD is 12 weeks today and they have been (as they say) both the best and worst times (my first, obviously). As far as i can DD is pretty normal, but what gets better/worse from here?

It keeps getting better for ever. (well can only comment on up to 3.5).
They laugh more, interact more, then eventually learn to move and talk. It is so much fun. In fact it's all the things you prob imagined parenting was about but didn't dare think it after 3 months of horror.

Oh - and cuddles and kisses.

Even tantrums aren't as bad as babyhood imho because you see them learning to cope with the world and expressing themselves and all the while getting better at it.

Sorry. Only just realised this was a sleep question. Doh.
How is she sleeping?

iamaLeafontheWind · 14/11/2008 16:16

Actually, I'm going to post it in Behaviour as well - I want to hear more about the cuddles!

She's still shouting in the evening, feeding 11.30, 4.30 and 7am which is just about survivable with co-sleeping.

Sounds pretty good except for the screamy evenings. We ended up getting our daughters to bed for the night at 5.30pm and then the screaming was no longer a problem.
