My 8 week old is swaddled at night (arms only -she doesn't like her legs in the swaddle) and is getting increasingly wriggly and kicking off her covers in the night and waking more, possibly because she's cold.
i've put her in a Grobag and that's great except that now her hands feel like ice.
any ideas...?

We had one of these for DD Swaddleaze. I think she eventually found out how to get her arms out but you could always put a long-sleeved vest on under her sleepsuit (if you don't already). We had a very cold house when DD was tiny and I used to also put sleepsuits with fold over cuffs on her or a pair of socks over her hands to keep them warm.

Here, Grobag swaddling, don't forget to click through MN for your discount if you buy from here.

When they are really tiny, it is perfectly normal for their hands and feet to be very cold when asleep, as long as baby's back/chest feels nice and toasty then he/she is the right temperature.

you can also try a Peke Moe, they keep arms covered. That's what we used. you can google it.
or mittens on hands?

we use a grobag as well and my daughter's hands are usually cool but we turn up the thermostat now that it's winter here but as long as the baby's chest/back of the neck is warm, they're ok. it's normal for baby's feet and hands to be cold when they're young
