Hi everyone

If anyone can help with a nightmare situation I would be so grateful.

My ds is 10 months old and goes to bed around 7.30pm. He wakes up EVERY NIGHT at 1am and 4.30am, absolutely desperate for a bottle, which he gets on both occasions.

He has now been doing this for over a month and my dp and I are really suffering. We take it in turns to do each night and it's like a living hell.

What can we do? I don't see how I can give ds any more food/milk in the day. He has:

Breakfast 8am
Bottle 10.30am
Lunch 12.30pm with water
Bottle 3pmish
Snack 4pm
Dinner 7pm with milk
Bottle 1am
Bottle 4.30am

Any tried/tested remedies would be very welcome.

she's great, she sorted out ds1 for us. She'll come and visit and write you a plan and be on the end of the phone for a week

Well worth the money as you say

suzywong - you have given me hope and you will not believe what that means to me today. Thanks. Off to docs now but will google later.

Brozzer it sounds like your ds is the double of mine, same age! same probs! it's an absolute nightmare isn't it!

I recently cotacted a sleep clinic(www.naturallynurturing.co.uk)who are a bit more expensive, they also visit your home twice & are at the end of the phone for two weeks.

Today is the first day of the 2 week programme I will keep you posted on the outcome.

I've got Andrea's number from web and am going to give it a try...

Do report back Fimbles...I am a desperate woman I will do anything...I want sleep.

I would change dinner to between 5 and 6 and leave bottle at 7pm (or whatever time bedtime is). Then try a bit of cc in the night, or start by diluting the bottles gradually with water until they are just water and he will give up I bet!

Poor you

My friend seeked this woman's advice and found her quite unhelpful.

I found this baby consultant who advertises in Crouch End North London, She was fantastic, She came to our home and Talked me through the method she uses, and because she is a mother herself she was very sympathetic, and stayed with me throughout the day, to solve my childs sleep problem, who now sleeps 7-7 thanks to her.

you can CAT me and I can give you her number, she was very nice, and didn't make me seem useless, which I was most afraid of.
