How can I stop my husband snoring?

The snoring is so bad that my ear plugs do not even make any difference. My husbands snoring has got worse over the years and is now becoming unbearable. We usually sleep separately but that is becoming more difficult now as we have had to move bedrooms around due to my baby needing her own room now and we no longer have a spare room. I slept with him last night for the first time in a very long time in our new bedroom and I didn’t get to sleep until around 1am and even then I was up every 10-30 minutes nudging him, tapping him, telling him to roll over which doesn’t help at all and then resulting in me eventually jabbing him with my elbow or a kick to the shin 🤣 I know it can’t be helped but me getting no sleep is a disaster, especially when I go back to work full time in 3 weeks. I cannot function well at all with little or no sleep, it ruins my whole day, makes me miserable, and affects my performance with absolutely everything.

Can you please let me know products or maybe some tips and tricks that actually completely stop snoring. Willing to try anything here, money isn’t an issue so happy to spend a bit more for something that actually works! I’ve looked at strips on Amazon but I just can’t see how that would work. Thanks in advance

Smother him.

I was going to suggest that but people on here get all snitty if you joke about doing away with your DH. 🙄

@MagpiePi trust me, I sometimes get the urge 🤣 the intrusive thoughts sometimes get the better of me hahaha. A kick to the shin is good enough for me though, even though he ends up getting mad at me!

I know the rage it can induce!
If my ex woke up when I kicked him he'd say, 'What??! I wasn't even asleep!'

What about buying a pad that goes in cot and other in your bed. It vibrates when baby is crying. That way you could wear your ear plugs

My husband lost 5 stone last year (on MJ) but his snoring basically stopped after losing just 1 stone. It’s been life changing. If it wasn’t for the fact I have menopause bladder, I’d get a full nights sleep

A five stone weigh gain will definitely be a factor. My DP is only short (so 11st is more than it sounds), but the minute he tips over 11st, the snoring starts.

Also any amount of alcohol makes his snoring worse. "Encouranging" him not to sleep on his back helps.

My Husband just lost 30 pounds on Weygovy and the snoring stopped totally. I also thought sleep apnea as he would stop breathing altogether but wey hey that’s stopped too. He needs to lose weight - it’s that simple. Good luck!

The nose strips do actually work! My husband has recently started snoring and I’ve had an op so really needed undisturbed sleep so he bought them and we didn’t think for a minute they’d work but they really do! He said the second he puts it on he can feel more air getting into his system.

I lost a significant amount of weight on Mounjaro last year.

I used to snore badly but now I very rarely snore, only if I have a bad cold.
