Nytol & Horlicks - it works like a charm for me, plus a relaxing music CD on as well. I sleep like the very dead and don;t wake up with a 'hangover' like you do when you swig Night Nurse

Can you make sure you have a buffer to do something not revision-related and more mind numbing before you go to bed? Big Brother is back on.....

Have a bath, have a warm drink, wind down a bit.

don't go to bed immediately after stopping work, do something a bit mundane to get yer brain to stop working for a bit. Watch Big Brother or sort some washing.

Also, if you're tossing and turning in bed, get up, walk around the house for a bit, then go back to bed. Works for me every time!

Stop worrying about not sleeping, just appreciate the chance to have rest for a bit. The sleep will come when you are more chilled out about it!

Good luck!

Nytol's a tablet - they do herbal version as well as the normal one. Get them from any supermarket or chemist. Try hot milk with a teeny bit of cinnamon instead of horlicks. Definitely safe to drive - they're much more gentle than a sleeping pill
