How to keep baby’s hands warm at night?

Hi all
My baby is currently wearing a long sleeve sleepsuit and 2.5 tog sleeping bag and she feels nicely warm to touch on her chest and the back of her neck but her hands feel freezing cold to the point the cold is going up her arms making them cold to touch as well. I fold the end of the sleeves over her hands but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. What are we all doing to keep little hands warm or at least stop them from being quite so cold at night time?
Thanks!

It's a normal baby thing. Their circulation isn't as good yet. If her hands are covered and her chest and neck are toasty, then I don't think you need to do anything. Especially if she's sleeping normally, cold babies will let you know if they're uncomfortable.

I remember being up at 3am with my newborn, anxiously googling why her hands are so cold haha.

It’s normal for small babies to have cold hands. If she feels warm otherwise she’s fine.

You can always pop teething gloves on her.

it is more unsafe to make them too warm

Turn up the heat? Although I agree babies have poor circulation I would also be alarmed if this was going on with my baby.

My babies hands are also really cold… but he has enough layers and didn’t complain! I don’t know what to do or just leave him be!

I’ve been googling this tonight! Yes I think it is a baby thing. Although it feels odd I think I will leave it as baby’s chest is warm and she seems comfortable. I tried to hold and warm up her hands / blow on them during this last feed and she just pulled them away and was not impressed!

Thanks everyone.
I think I just panicked a bit because it was 3am and she has been sleeping through the night so I haven’t had a 3am wake up in a while🫣
Now it’s a more reasonable time of day and I’m a bit more rational, I think she probably just woke up because she was grouchy with teething all day so had gone to bed a bit earlier so was probably just a bit hungry and maybe still uncomfortable in her mouth

Very normal. I'd add a long sleeve vest given how cold it is at night now. Mine always wears lots at night, she loves being toasty.
