May I have some advice from Mums please.

Iam taking care of my grandson on one afternoon per week, he is 10 months old.

I need 'something' for him to take his afternoon nap in, his mother has the Quinney Buzz and the Zap.

The former is too cubersome for me to manage and the Zap dos'nt allow him to lie flat.

I have limited storage, but wondered if I could get something second that would be suitable? even another push chair?

travel cot?

Travel cots fold up smallish (like a folded buggy) and are around £50 new.

In daycare nurseries they move them out of cots at this stage and they sleep on a mat on the floor. Of course they are closely supervised and in a safe environment, but if you have a small room which could be made safe, you could get a Gate To Go (collapsible stairgate) for the doorway and make him a bed on the floor/use a mattress.

Actually at this age, lying flat doesn't matter so much, especially if it's only for one nap per week.

Alternatively if you want a lie-flat, compact pushchair, I would recommend the Maclaren Techno. Perhaps you could pick one up second hand - I've seen lots on gumtree.com.
