Dressing baby for bedtime - layers?

I've got different recommendations saved in my phone from several websites on how to dress a baby depending on temperature. But they're all slightly different, so I never feel 100% confident in what I'm dressing my baby in. First time parent (obviously!) and 5 months in, but still not always sure. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Especially with this in between weather atm.
I'll add photos of the guides I have, can you tell me which you'd personally go by?

I always follow the advice of 1 more layer than what I have on unless DD is unwell then it’s nappy + 1 layer (usually a short sleeve vest) and keep an eye on room temp with her Misty cloud

None of them specifically. They vary because babies are individuals. Pick whatever chart you like as a starting point. If baby isn’t waking cold then they’re not too cold- they will wake up if they are. Stick your hand inside their bed clothes and check if they feel too hot or just right. Common sense prevails I think!

@Sub2Mumma 1 more layer than you I think is helpful in the day and what I went by too but I don’t think it applies overnight because a) as an adult you don’t tend to wear a sleeping bag so there’s no direct comparison and b) babies/toddlers are much more prone to overheating than adults and usually have less bed covers e.g. they can have a duvet from 1 but under 3s should have never have more than a 4.5 tog duvet even in deepest winter whilst an adult would probably be using like a 10 tog.
